Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
"I welcome you to our vibrant school community, where every child is valued, celebrated, and supported to thrive. At South we believe in creating a culturally inclusive and safe environment where all students feel respected and connected. We honour the rich diversity of our school family and embrace the unique backgrounds and stories each student brings.
Our commitment is to nurture resilience, curiosity, and a growth mindset in every child. We encourage our students to be courageous, to learn from challenges, and to always strive to be the best version of themselves. Through supportive teaching, collaborative learning, and a strong sense of belonging, we empower our students to succeed not only academically but also personally and socially.
Our passionate and dedicated educators blend explicit teaching with play, inquiry, innovative technologies and real-world experiences. From nature play to High Potential programs, our students are challenged, inspired, and supported to grow and succeed.
Through rich learning programs, extracurricular activities, and community events, we aim to develop confident, capable young people ready to make a positive impact.
My team are excited to have the opportunity to work with you and alongside your child as they journey through primary school."
